My work begins with a curiosity about how we come to live lives that no longer correspond to what we need, want or value. Through my artistic practice I investigate how social and cultural expectations become internalised until they shape how we perceive ourselves and what we believe is possible. 

I create tactile installations, soft sculptures, participatory and performative situations that invite people to notice themselves differently and imagine other ways of being. Works emerge through what I call material mindmapping: an embodied process in which materials, movement and making become a way of thinking, until artistic questions and forms gradually reveal themselves.

Increasingly, my installations borrow from the way bodies inhabit furniture, textiles and architectural space. More than representing bodily experience, they invite audiences to physically negotiate them. Through touch, participation and sensory encounters, I seek to create moments in which our inherited ways of being can briefly become tangible, questioned and experienced otherwise.
